To resolve this problem please follow the instructions below how to change a setting in your STB.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abIMB\u00bb set top box (silver in color and has IMB written on the front of your box)<\/b><\/p>\n

\n

1. Restart your receiver by unplugging the power cord from the back and plugging it back in.<\/p>\n

2. Wait for the two network icons to disappear (two white squares that go away after 20-30 seconds).\u00a0If you push any buttons while the white icons are still on, you will need to start from the step 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Use the \u201cDown\u201d button to choose \u201cSettings\u201d and push \u201cEnter\u201d.<\/p>\n

4. On the \u201cNetwork Setting\u201d screen you\u00a0MUST HAVE CHECKMARK<\/span>\u00a0on \u201cObtain IP address automatically using DHCP\u201d and \u201cObtain DNS server automatically\u201d. If any or both of these two checkmarks are not checked please use your remote control to move the yellow cursor to the checkmark and push \u201cEnter\u201d button to mark or unmark it. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT \u201cUse a proxy\u201d is NOT CHECKED.<\/p>\n

5. Once you have checked \u201cObtain IP\u2026\u201d and \u201cObtain DNS\u2026\u201d please go down and push \u201cOK\u201d button. You will see \u201cPlease wait while network reconnects\u201d and the box will reboot itself.<\/p>\n

6. When the box reboots wait for the white icons to disappear and push on Launch.<\/p>\n

7. Wait for the box to reboot and enjoy your subscription.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00abSoftier\u00bb set top box (gray\/white in color and has Softier or WAVE 300 written on the front of your box)<\/b><\/p>\n

\n

1. Restart your receiver by unplugging the power cord from the back and plugging it back in.<\/p>\n

2. Wait for the box to show \u201cLocating Network\u201d and as soon as you see the status bar running push and hold \u201dMenu\u201d button until you see the new screen with \u201cLoading Setup\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

3. Once in the setup use your remote control to move down to \u201cLAN\u201d and once to the right to get into the Lan submenu.<\/p>\n

4. Here\u00a0\u201cUse DHCP\u201d must say YES and \u201cUse Fixed DNS\u201d must say NO.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. To change the value in DHCP or DNS use your cursor to move to the field and press \u201cOK\u201d on your remote control. The new box will pop-up where you can use your UP or Down button to change the value and press OK to save it.<\/p>\n

6. When the correct values are chosen go to the left to get out of the submenu and go all the way down to \u201cExit Mode\u201d.\u00a0Here you must choose \u201cSave & Reboot\u201d or the box will not save the settings!<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Wait for the box to reboot and enjoy your subscription.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00abPeerStation\u00bb set top box (dark gray\/black or just black in color and has PeerStation or Internet IPSTB written on the front of your box)<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>

Attention all PeerStation users!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Regardless of the below settings you might still be experiencing difficulties watching TV (once an hour buffer, missing video or audio signal, kicking out while using wireless etc\u2026) This can be fixed by upgrading the firmware of your receiver. Please check your firmware number (this can be done by checking the writing on the first screen where you have a list of all the countries \u2013 in the top right corner). The current firmware version is \u201cSIG-220-v-6.3.55IM\u201d. If your firmware is different please upgrade it by following this\u00a0link<\/a>\u00a0to the instruction page. Once you upgrade the firmware you will still have to go through the DNS setup below.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

1. Restart your receiver by unplugging the power cord from the back and plugging it back in.<\/p>\n

2. Wait for the box to show \u201cLocating Network\u201d and as soon as you see the status bar running push and hold \u201dSetup\u201d button until you see the new screen with \u201cLoading Setup\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
